While I don’t always make it happen, one of my goals is to get out and walk for at least an hour every day. This is a great way to get some exercise, recharge the brain, and listen to my favorite podcast, Entrepreneur on Fire. Today I was fortunate to not only have amazing weather and bluebird skies, but also have an amazing episode of EOF with Tom Ziglar, (son of the famed speaker Zig Ziglar) to listen to. The teasers played at the beginning of the show included a quote by Tom, and it went like this:
“The fastest way to success is to replace bad habits with good habits.”
Some people are blessed with the ability to distill complicated topics into simple, easily digestible forms. I think Tom has done it here. He followed up on this statement later in the podcast when he shared something he came up with when he reflected on the statement…
What if, every week, we replaced one bad habit with a good one?
A great idea.
This is something anyone can include in their morning ritual. Something that can easily be included in your S.M.A.R.T. plan(s).
So get out there and do it.
